PAL Dubai: Mandatory Information in PNR Data

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities have implemented new regulatory guidelines for bookings on flights flying to and from the UAE.

The regulation mandates the input of the following information at the time of ticketing.

1. Travel document number, i.e passport number
2. Nationality
3. Name as per travel documents
4. Date of birth
5. Gender
6. Personal phone number
7. Personal email address

To ensure compliance with the new regulations, frontlines must collect the above information and input the same to the passenger’s booking record or PNR before the ticket is issued.
