Important Information
- All the tourists to Sri Lanka are bound to stay within a designated area known as the Biosecurity bubble. You can only stay in level 1 hotels approved by the government of Sri Lanka and 15 tourist attractions are allowed to be visited in the bubble. Visitors can come out of the bubble after 14 days of their stay
- No quarantine or minimum stay conditions will be applied to visitors.
- The passengers must have a negative PCR test report, taken not more than 96 hours before the scheduled flight, at boarding. A health declaration will have to be filled by the passengers before boarding flight on flight or arrival.
- Visitors will have to undergo PCR test during their stay.
- Test 1- on arrival at the hotel
- Test 2- between 5th to 7th day of stay
- Test 3- on 14 the day of stay
- Kids below 12 years will be tested only if someone close is found positive or symptomatic. PCR test rate- USD 40 Per person per test and you must buy it beforehand.
Requirements for Visa
- Confirmed booking in any of the Level 1 hotels
- Paid COVID 19 insurance
- Pre Paid PCR Tests as per requirement.
- A detailed itinerary with all stops in between transfers.
- No Visa will be issued upon arrival.
Once all the requirements for Visa are fulfilled, the visitor can download it from on applying with a unique reference number issued.
