  • You must be in possession of a valid Single Entry Schengenstaten Visa. The cost of this visa is not included in your package tour price. It would be best to check with your travel agent and the consulates nearest to you for advice and information. Please ensure that your travel documents are ready in time for departure.
Ticketing Requirements
  • For this tour you would require confirmed air tickets to arrive into Vienna and depart from Zurich / Milan. It would be advisable to check with your Travelex sales officer or local travel agent for ticketing.

All joining direct passengers will have to reach the respective hotel/airport, on their own and check in

BAGGAGE REGULATIONS AND SOME RECOMMENDATIONS

Airlines allow maximum of 20 kgs per person as check-in baggage. One small handbag is allowed per person as cabin baggage, which should not weigh more than 5 kgs.
Due to limited space for luggage in the coach each passenger will be allowed to carry only one check- in baggage. The dimension of the check-in bag should not exceed 30”x 18”x 10”.
In case passengers arrive on tour with more than 1 check-in bag and if the same cannot be fitted in the luggage hold of the touring coach then the passengers will have to courier their extra bags to the next destination at their own expense.

CLIMATE

You have a choice of Jain / Veg / Non-Veg meals. The menus, however, are fixed in advance and a la carte is not possible.
Most lunches and dinner are unlimited buffets, but it is requested that you do not waste food.
All lunches provided on tour are vegetarian.
If there is any early morning departure to the airport a box breakfast may be provided.
Some cities you may be served local meals.
Europe’s climate is as varied as its countries, but it is mostly temperate.
Frequent changes of weather make forecasting difficult. To be on the safe side, be sure to bring a sweater and an umbrella with you.
We recommend travelling light especially when there are internal flight involved in the program due to baggage weight limitation.
We suggest that you carry 01 set of clothes along with your daily utility items and other accessories in your hand baggage. This is just a precautionary measure in case your baggage is misplaced.
We advise that you travel as light as possible, since porterage is not included in your tour price and carrying heavy luggage would be inconvenient. Take bags with wheels and sturdy handles, as they are more convenient and easier to pull.
Please note that airlines do not permit items like loose batteries, razor blades, nail cutter, scissors, knives, gels, any form of liquid, cigarette lighter in your hand baggage. If required carry such items in your check-in bag.
Please ensure that you do not place any valuables in your check-in bag. Carry your foreign currency / travel documents / jewelery / insurance in your handbag.

HOTELS & ROOMS

Most hotels offer the facility of complimentary safe deposit lockers (few hotels charge a refundable deposit). We advise that you keep all your valuables like money, passport, tickets and jewelry in the locker, in case you are staying for more than one day at the hotel.
Please make sure that no damages are done to your hotel room during the stay, as the same would be charged to you directly by the hotel.
Hotel rooms may have facilities like mini bar, pay television channels, telephones etc. Please note that these facilities are not complimentary and will be charged as per actual usage.
Hotels in Europe do not have tea/coffee kettle in the rooms
Due to favorable weather conditions, most hotels do not have air conditioners or fans.
Normal tap water in the hotels you stay is safe for drinking all over Europe.

Day 1Vienna, Austria

Welcome to Vienna – capital of Austria. You will be transferred to your hotel (Checkin time is after 1500 hrs.). Overnight in Vienna. (D)

Day 2Vienna, Mondsee and Salzburg, Austria

Today, on your orientation city tour, drive on the Ring Boulevard and see the State Opera House, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. Make a photo stop at the Belvedere Palace former summer residence of Prince Eugene. Walk along the St Stephenlplatz and get enamored by the St. Stephens Cathedral – the symbol of Vienna. Later, drive to Mondsee. Lake Mondsee is known for its crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by magnificent peaks. See Basilica St Michael, where the wedding of Maria and Captain von Trapp took place in the world-famous musical, The Sound of Music. Next, drive to Salzburg and we take you on an orientation walking tour. See the birthplace of the legendary Mozart, the Mirabell Palace with its landscaped gardens and the old town. Stroll along the Aldstadt, which was recently granted World Heritage Status by UNESCO. Overnight in Salzburg. (B, D)

Day 3Hallstatt, Zell Am See and Innsbruck, Austria

Today, drive to Hallstatt. Nestled between the edge of Hallstätter See and the towering Dachstein Mountains. Austria’s oldest and possibly most photographed village is something like a mirage. Capture the delightful houses built into the mountain, the glass-like lake, and the amazing mountains in the background. Later, drive to Zell Am See – and Kapellbrucke. You can also shop for Swiss souvenirs. Overnight in Switzerland. (B, D)

Day 4Innsbruck, Austria, Rhine Falls - Schaffhausen and Stein

Today, we take you on an Orientation tour of Innsbruck. See the ‘Goldenes Dachl’ – the Golden roof, an ornate Gothic balcony and a symbol of the city, the Heiblinghaus, a building resembling a wedding cake. Visit the Swarovski shop. Here you have an opportunity to shop for the famous Swarovski Crystals. Next, we drive to Switzerland, famous for soaring Alpine peaks and sparkling turquoise lakes. We stop at Schaffhausen to admire the thundering beauty of the Rhine falls. Next, we visit Stein Am Rhein, famous for its well-preserved Old Town, featuring painted fascades and half-timber houses. Overnight in Switzerland. (B, D)

Day 5Day Free OR opt for ‘Mt. Titlis and Lucerne’, Switzerland

Today, the day is free OR opt for a visit to Mt. Titlis, the highest peak in central Switzerland. Ride two cable cars – the second of which is the ‘Titlis Rotair’, the world’s first rotating cable car. Weather permitting, you could take a stroll on the Cliff Walk – a 100m. suspension bridge 3,000m above the ground! Visit Lucerne – on an orientation tour see the Lion Monument.

Today, the day is free OR we suggest an excursion to Jungfraujoch – a majestic backdrop of ice, snow and rock with breathtaking views. Board the charming cogwheel train from Lauterbrunnen to Jungfraujoch, the highest altitude railway station in Europe at 11,333 ft. takes us along lovely lakes and mountain passes. On top of Jungfraujoch, experience the magic of the mountains at the Sphinx Terrace. We can also enjoy the Ice Palace – while being encased in ice yourself! Day 6Bern and Zurich, Switzerland

Today, we drive to Bern the Swiss Capital – the only Swiss city to be accorded World Heritage status. On an orientation tour of Bern, see the Clock Tower, the Parliament Building and Gothic Fountains.
