Itinerary

Day 1

Today you will be picked up from Airport by our representative and from there will be taken to Kandy. In your way to Kandy, you will stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Enter this place only if you can handle an overload of cuteness. Witnessing baby elephant’s bottle feeding and roaming all around is a sight worth millions. These orphan giants are treated here from 1975 and restore the true meaning of humanity in our hearts.
The Kandy city is quite a treat to your eyes as the panorama of enticing sceneries including lakes and hills never ceases. The region is also significant historically as it was the capital city of last Sinhalese rule. The city houses the famous temple of Sacred Tooth, Dalada Maligawa and is most prominent spiritual stoppage in Sri Lanka. You can get to relish an extravagant celebration in the month of August each year in the city.
If you get free in time then you will visit a local hall of the area and enjoy traditional dance and music of Sri Lanka with authentic Sri Lankan drumming.
After that you will check in at your hotel and rest. Overnight at Kandy.

Day 2

After breakfast you will head for Kandy city tour. You will see the British Garrison Cemetery where British residents were buried from 1822-1873. After that you will visit Ceylon tea Museum in the outskirts of town. This museum is housed by hathane Tea Factory and is a nice place to know much about this beverage. After that you will visit Peredeniya Botanical Gardens where orchids and palms refresh your senses. Founded in 1824, these botanical gardens store many variety of flora like orchids, teak, satinwood, ebony, mahogany and tamarind and is beautifully bounded by Mahaweli river from 3 sides.
Overnight at Kandy

Day 3

After breakfast you will visit Nuwara Eliya. In your way you will have a stop at a tea factory to acknowledge yourself with the beautiful process of tea making. This town is located at 1900 m above sea level and reflects all the British disciplines of infrastructures. Enticing mountains and deep valleys calms down your eyes and flushing waterfalls drops the temperature of the town. After that you will visit the Victorian post office, the old Hill Club, golf course and Holy Trinity Church.
Return to your hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4

After breakfast you will head to Lake Gregory which lies in the Nuwara Eliya. The lake and its surroundings sums up to a peaceful and relaxing SD pot and reflects British era. Relish sightseeing in the Nuwara Eliya and then return to your hotel.
Rest of the day is free. Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5

After breakfast you will head to Negombo. This town used to be a British -Dutch port and gives a deep insight into colonial days. Now this place has turned into a busy town with beautiful beach and stylish bars and restaurants.
