Best of Abu Dhabi Sightseeing

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is a well-ordered and industrious city with a stunning waterside location. This city was a small fishing village until oil was discovered here. The urbanisation and the rapid development in its tourism sector have transformed the city into a top tourist destination. Now, Abu Dhabi is a bustling, modern city, with gleaming skyscrapers and busy shopping malls. Check out our list of the top-rated destinations for Abu Dhabi sightseeing:

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

This beautiful and massive Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is Abu Dhabi’s landmark building, and the most popular sightseeing attraction in the whole city. The mosque fuses many elements of design to create a perfectly traditional yet modern mosque that celebrates Islamic architecture. Opened in 2007 after about 20 years of construction, it is able to hold 40,000 worshippers, making it the biggest mosque in the United Arab Emirates.

Ferrari World

Visit this indoor temple of torque and celebration of all things Ferrari in this spectacular building. Kids can test out newly learned driving skills on the Junior track, while thrill-seekers can buckle up and ride the Flying Aces rollercoaster. You can also check out the collection of Ferrari’s cars, with models dating back to 1947.

Observation Deck at 300

Abu Dhabi’s competition to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai is this observation deck, on the 74th floor of the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers hotel, offering skyline views from the highest point in the city.
