If you have a few hours free and are looking for something to do, Dubai Zoo would be a great activity for you. The oldest zoo of its kind in UAE, it is a special place of interest for families and tourists in Dubai. Spread over 3.7 acres, this zoo is a very popular attraction to citizens of Dubai and tourists.
The zoo is home to approx 230 animal species of which 248 are mammal specimens and 400 reptile specimens. From giraffes to spiders, playful and naughty chimpanzees to the (not so) ferocious lions, they have it all! And what fascinated me the most was their white snake in Room 43. I have never seen a snake as white and I probably would have missed it if my child hadn’t pointed it out.
For those who want a more exciting wildlife experience, wait for the launch of Dubai Safari which will be open for visitors soon! But till then, take your family to a recreational trip and make their day by experiencing the Dubai Zoo.
