Dubai Adventure Activities That You Must Try

Dubai has a wide and unique variety of activities that rarely any other city can offer. And if you’re visiting the Emerald city, you might as well make your trip worthwhile! To help inspire your wild side, we’ve put together a list of Dubai adventure activities that probably have never tried before and will get your adrenaline pumping.

Power-Parachuting

Now, you can parachute with a twist. A powered parachute is also called a paraplane, and consists of a parachute with motor and wheels. The pilots sit in a small caged cockpit which is attached to a huge fan. Once the engine is revved, the fan inflates the parachute and off you go. Enjoy a ride with an experienced pilot and take in the views of Ras Al Khaimah. Or, if you’re an aspiring power-parachutist, you can learn to fly these at Al Jazira Aviation Club. Although you must try this as power-parachuting is the best of Dubai adventure activities.

Kiteboarding

Kiteboarding has aspects of snowboarding, surfing, paragliding, skateboarding, sailing, and windsurfing, making it an extreme sport. The kiteboarding (that would be you) harnesses the power of the wind with a large power kite, and is propelled across the water on a kiteboard, which is similar to a small surfboard and doesn’t have any bindings. You can try this at Kite Beach, off the Jumeriah Beach Road.

Archery

Grab a bow and some arrows and test your archery skills on a field range or a target with local archery enthusiasts at Dubai Archers.

Laserquest

Play a combat game using lasers at Dubai Laserdome, set in a 400 square meter medieval castle, complete with a Day-Glo decor. You can play laser quest at Dubai Autodrome in Motor City.

Climbing

Dornell’s Climbing’s The Wall is right in the city centre, Dubai World Trade Centre, and is the tallest in the UAE, at just over 15 meters high. A dubai adventure activities trip would be incomplete without climbing.

Karting

Live out your racer fantasies at the Autodrome kart track. If you race and complete the course under 1 minute 14 seconds, you’ll be allowed to drive the RX250 Karts, which are known to be super-speedy.
